COTA, Inc. announces Ritu Bahal has joined the company to serve as Chief Financial Officer

COTA, Inc., an oncology real-world data and analytics services company, today announced that Ritu Bahal has joined the company to serve as Chief Financial Officer.

As CFO, Ritu will oversee all aspects of COTA’s financial strategy as it enters the next phase of growth. She will support COTA’s overall mission of bringing clarity to cancer care by devising and implementing sound financial strategies to maximize revenue growth and operational efficiencies, increasing financial transparency and engaging with investors.

“I am excited to welcome Ritu to our team,” said Michael Doyle, President and CEO. “She brings a diverse, international skillset to the company, and has a proven track record of driving substantial growth initiatives during her career, while increasing bottom line profit. I am confident she will be a great asset in helping us profitably scale our business in response to the growing demand for real-world data and analytics services nationally and internationally.”

Prior to joining COTA, Ritu spent 20 years at WPP/Kantar Group in a variety of financial leadership roles. Most recently Ritu served as the CFO of Kantar Insights and Kantar Health, North America, where she had a strong track record of accelerating profitable growth through periods of rapid change. She successfully led the acquisition and integration of companies into Kantar and was instrumental in the formation of Kantar Health in the Americas, via the integration of its legacy companies.

“I’m thrilled to be working at COTA, where our work has the power to change the lives of oncology patients for the better,” shared Ritu. “I believe the potential for growth and value creation is tremendous, and I’m looking forward to developing plans, in collaboration with the leadership team, to build on COTA’s recent momentum. In addition, as an advocate for mentoring and building strong, diverse teams, I am excited that COTA’s diversity and inclusion values align with mine.”

While at Kantar, Ritu played key finance leadership roles on charitable committees including UNICEF and Special Olympics and is currently a Trustee for Child Action. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Management from King’s College, London University and trained as a Chartered Accountant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in the UK, where she started her career. She lives in New Jersey with her husband and three children and, when not working, enjoys playing tennis and traveling.

We are proud to share that with the addition of Ritu, COTA’s management team is now 60% women and 70% non-white.
